Our associates have served clients in a variety of industries:
We are supporting project developers with strategic concepts and tools to optimize project value while understanding business and market constraints. This is achieved through project reviews and opportunity assessments. The project reviews are focused on scope rationalization, execution strategy optimization and team performance assessment and are performed by a dedicated team following a proven methodology.
SCPS provides guidance on the suitability of existing project governance processes. This includes real-time, integrated performance management, establishment of expectations and communication channels.
SCPS assigns and seconds specialized staff to clients’ organizations to meet short-term goals or be part of the implementation team for specific change initiatives or projects. We are passionate in helping companies with various aspects of capital project execution.
We have successfully seconded complete project teams to our clients and defined project requirements; setup scope, schedule and cost baselines; managed contractors and were accountable for overall project performance.
For companies that are delivering a limited capital projects portfolio where a full-time PMO is not economical, SCPS can provide specialized PMO services on an as-needed basis. Our project management staff can support your organization in managing projects by analyzing reports, prepare the necessary risk and performance trends and summarize key indicators and recovery plans in dashboards and presentations for executive management.
A Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS) involves the introduction of processes designed to decrease the incidence of injury and illness in the employer’s operation and protection of the Environment.
The scope and complexity of a HSEMS will vary according to the size and type of workplace. SCPS can develop and implement a world class HSEMS which will be fit-for-purpose, to ensure compliance to provincial acts and regulations.
The following typical elements should be considered: Health and Safety Plan, Comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Work Standard, Medical Management Plan, Security Management Plan, Worker Competency and Training, Early and Safe Return to Work Program, Emergency Response Plan, Environmental Protection Plan, Environmental Monitoring Plan, Waste Management Plan, Rehabilitation and Closure Plan, Greenhouse Gas Management Plan.
HSE Leadership Training enables improved performance by understanding and managing attitudes and behaviors of leaders in the organization. The program is structured as a class course followed by mentoring in the field.
The two (2) day, fourteen (14) modules, class course helps the leadership team to become familiar with basic leadership principles for effective EHS risk management. The unique aspect of the EHS Training is that the classroom trainers continue as field mentors by following up with each one of the leadership team individually.
